KWAME CEO Tony Thompson was recognized for his multi-decade contributions to the construction industry with the Leadership Institute Award through the Construction Forum St. Louis Building Tomorrow Awards program.
“The award is presented to the individual or organization who/which best strengthened relationships through partnerships with a strong inclusion and diversity lens. Thompson has promoted diversity and inclusion within the construction industry for more than 30 years, both within his own firm and through promoting and assisting minority-owned firms. He helps inspire and educate the next generation through his work speaking annually to businesses, universities, and through his founding of the KWAME Foundation to bring educational opportunities to minority students.”
