Job Summary:

We are seeking a full time highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduler. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules, ensuring that all tasks and resources are allocated efficiently to meet project deadlines. This role requires strong communication skills, as the Scheduler will be liaising with project managers, team members, subcontractors, and clients to gather project information and update schedules accordingly. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
  • Coordinate with project managers to gather project requirements and establish project timelines.
  • Analyze project scope, milestones, and deliverables to develop detailed project schedules.
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to tasks based on project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks or conflicts.
  • Communicate schedule updates, delays, and adjustments to project stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with project teams to resolve scheduling issues and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on project schedule performance and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and proposals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a scheduler or project coordinator in construction, engineering, or related industry.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of construction methods, terminology, and scheduling best practices.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
