ST. LOUIS, MO – Anthony (Tony) Thompson has launched TBeats Studio, an affordable professional music production studio with services to help musicians create, learn and progress in their careers. TBeats is located at 1204 Washington Ave. 4th floor in Downtown St. Louis.“The iconic hip hop group Bones Thugs N Harmony was so impressed with our studio that they developed and recorded a new single here last month,” said Thompson.

TBeats provides a full range of services including high-quality music production and classes in audio recording, engineering, recording software and equipment. TBeats also offers artist support services including songwriting, publishing, artistic development, public relations, branding / marketing, and acting, fashion and career consulting.

“We help musicians achieve a professional sound and look without expensive budgets,” said Thompson. “We put our whole being into each artist to help them develop their vocals, stand out in a crowd of performers, and learn the business of entertainment.”

Thompson is a music producer, multi-instrumental musician, composer and songwriter. He also is CEO and Chairman of the Board of the St. Louis-based construction management / program management firm Kwame Building Group, Inc., which he founded in 1991. Shaw is a musician, music arranger, director and producer. He opened The Central studios in St. Louis in 2012, which later became TBeats Studio.

The studio’s operations manager is Nick Brown, a musician of 30 years. The audio engineer is Derrick Snow, a recent graduate of Webster University with a Bachelors of Arts in Audio Aesthetics and Technology.

“After 30-plus years, I’ve learned the ins and outs of the music industry the hard way,” said Brown. “I’m excited to apply that experience to TBeats’ artist development programs, which are far beyond anything I could have imagined. We will be a Midwest force in the music industry.”

TBeats also produces the Live Your Dream scholarship program and concert for the Kwame Foundation. Live Your Dream was established to provide music scholarships to talented high school seniors who have a passion for music and education. The goal is to help youth, particularly those who otherwise might not have an opportunity to connect with the music industry, achieve their music career dreams through production, business development, and overall personal growth.

“We show students how to create a goal and aim for it,” said Thompson. “We give them a platform for embarking on an artistic career so their talents and gifts can be developed and exhibited.”

In addition to Bone Thugs N Harmony, music producer Bradd Young and film director Craig Thomas have recorded at TBeats Studio. Thomas currently is working with the TBeats team to develop soundtracks for a movie to be filmed in St. Louis.

TBeats Studio is open by appointment only. For more information about TBeats Studio and the Live Your Dream program, visit www.tbeatsstudio.com or call (314) 754-5618.
