KWAME served as construction manager on the $41.9 million science building and infrastructure project at the Dallas County Community College – Richland campus in Richardson, Texas.

The new 115,000-square-foot facility is home to the Richland College Bookstore and the Health and Science Placement Center programs. The new facility includes labs, classrooms, offices and student study areas to support these programs. The project also includes construction of a new coffee shop, bookstore, expanded parking, and upgrades and improvements to Richland College’s mechanical infrastructure.

The design of the new building is consistent with Richland College’s existing architectural style and will incorporate concepts from LEED and Universal Design. The college will pursue LEED Platinum certification on the building.
