The Washington Avenue Loft District in St. Louis, between Tucker and 18th Street, was transformed into a grand, cohesive promenade, inviting to shoppers, restaurant patrons and dance club-goers. The streetscape improvements included the widening of sidewalks, new street lighting, architectural paving, and installation of shade trees and other landscaping.

KWAME provided full program management for the first phase of the project as designated by the Downtown Development action plan. As part of this engagement, KWAME managed the construction bidding process, monitored the design development, managed all construction documents, and provided contractor oversight and inspection during the construction phase.
