The CCM program is a subsidiary of the Construction Management Association of America and is accredited by the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 Personnel Certification Accreditation Program.The CCM designation is awarded to individuals who meet the professional standards of the industry and demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality professional construction management services available.
To achieve the designation, applicants must meet prescribed criteria regarding formal education, field experience, and demonstrated capability and understanding of construction management. Applicants must complete a comprehensive and rigorous process including an extensive application, client references and a five-hour exam. Key to the CCM program is a mandatory minimum requirement of four years experience as a responsible-in-charge construction manager, realized through project execution during all phases of construction as part of a project delivery team.
