Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. runs along the foot of the Grand Staircase at the Gateway Arch.

The renovation project gives a brand new look along the riverfront. The 1.5-mile stretch of road that runs beneath the Gateway Arch was raised two feet to prevent flooding from the Mississippi River.

The new roadway features a bike path, benches, flags, power outlets, and even a stage. Completion is expected this fall and includes completing the north and south ends of the Arch Grounds this.

KWAME’s construction management services included M/WBE workforce and contract monitoring along with monthly reporting to Great River’s Green way. KWAME also assisted in the implementation of the diversity plan for the project.
