ST. LOUIS, MO – The Kwame Foundation raised more than $50,000 at its 16th Annual Golf Tournament at Top Golf in Chesterfield, MO on August 29th. Proceeds will fund scholarships for first-generation, college-bound students at Washington University, Maryville University, Saint Louis University and the University of Kansas and several others. Since 2003, the foundation has endowed over $1.5 million in scholarships and grants at over 12 different universities.

Over the past two decades, design-build has moved from alternative to mainstream as a preferred project delivery system. Today, nearly half of American construction dollars – an estimated $1.2 trillion in 2018-2021 – is being spent on design-build projects, according to the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).

Congratulations to all of the June college graduates, including the 20 seniors who attended Kwame’ Foundation’s college tours over their 2019 Spring Break.  A total of 128 high school juniors and seniors from 16 area high schools participated this year. The Kwame Foundation organized the weeklong bus trip to seven Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and provided transportation and chaperones.
